The establishment of the institution was in consonance with the need for a standard, reachable and affordable quality learning for primary, secondary and tertiary education as the case may be.

The history of ICOM
The International College of Makeni was established in 2018 as private learning institution in a bid to promote and foster quality education for the purpose of preparing and raising responsible future citizens with the required discipline to contribute toward national peace and development. The establishment of the institution was in consonance with the need for a standard, reachable and affordable quality learning for primary, secondary and tertiary education as the case may be
The school /college, which is co-educational in nature, follows the prescribed curriculum of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and seeks to promote tolerance and learning friendly atmosphere for all its pupils and students irrespective of their various backgrounds. Since its establishment, it has contributed a lot in the empowerment of children, youths educational achievements and learning thus create more access and university requirements for pupils in the past years especially in the sciences.
