About The Program
The Nursing Department, under the Faculty of Health Sciences, was established with two primary goals: first, to develop students’ intellectual, ethical, and compassionate qualities essential for professional nursing practice; and second, to prepare them for effective and skilled employment in the healthcare sector. There is no doubt that ethics, values, compassion, and critical thinking are fundamental elements in delivering quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being and development of society.
As a pioneering institution in the country, ICOM has consistently been committed to instilling these essential qualities in its students in response to the broader needs of society. The Nursing Department strongly believes that value-based education fosters excellence in healthcare leadership, and ultimately contributes to improved patient outcomes and the overall development of the nation.
